In general, the position requires implementation and oversight of all PHC Departmental practices and procedures. A comprehensive list of duties and responsibilities is available upon request, and will be shared in the interview process.
- Would walk properties, identifying trees and plants and diagnosing any issues they might have.
- Assemble care plan to address issues and write quotes for clients
- Plan and route treatments according to the appropriate application time
- Have an extensive knowledge on trees, their disease and insect issues, primarily in the upper South Carolina area
- Possess good technical writing skills to be able to communicate issues effectively to clients
- Be able to train crew members on how to properly and safely mix, store, and apply products
- Monitor and manage inventory/supplies
- Be able to go out on the truck and do applications (a certain level of physical fitness required for this role)
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license for a min. of three years with no excessive accidents or speeding tickets
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Background in Forestry, Biology, Horticulture, Environmental Science or relative focus.
Pay & Benefits
Projected yearly income of 60,000-75,000 (dependent on expertise and background)
